With January 1st, 2011 approaching, we asked our World Moms Blog writers…
What is your New Year’s Resolution for 2011?
Here’s what they had to say…
Eva Fannon of Washington, USA writes:
“My New Year’s resolution is to figure out how to make a little bit of time for myself each month!”
Kirsten Jessiman of Toronto, Canada says:
“My New Years resolution is to fix my damned eating habits! I could be a much better runner if I only had the discipline to eat properly!”
A. Roselyn of California, USA states:
“Two of my many resolutions this year are to swap kids with the neighbors more often and go to bed really, really early 3 times a month (dates ending in 6).”
Maggie Ellison of South Carolina, USA writes:
“I want to make more time for myself. This is a hard one for me and has been a resolution in the past. I give all of myself to my kids and family. That has always come more natural to me, but I know that I am out of balance. So…I am taking this year to focus on balancing my life…no biggie! I can see some future blogs on this struggle!”
Margie Bryant of Arkansas, USA says:
“My two biggest resolutions are to get healthy since I have let my weight get out of control. The second is to spend more time with my friends. Since school started and I moved in with my boyfriend, I have neglected my girl friends.”
Allison Charleston of New York, USA states:
“My husband and I have a joint resolution this year . . .to go out more as a couple! We have access to plenty of babysitters, but don’t take advantage of it as often as we should.”
Veronica Samuels of New Jersey, USA chimes in:
“To eat more greens. Really. I think this is one of the most important things I can do for me and my family. I was on a roll in 2010, but then failed miserably. Time to get back on the horse!
And, to be back to doing more yoga by the summer after the baby comes in March. More dates with my husband would be great, too. Oh, and to breathe because it’s going to be a busy year!”

I don’t have one, I always seem to breake them anyway! I believe it is better to make resolutions and changes all through the year – all though I am not very good at that either!
Happy New Year,
Asta
And last but not least, that’s right Veronica…dont forget to breath 🙂 ! Love it! These are all great!!! My resolution is to use what I do have to make things better in my life and in others. Going back to school and doing more charity work in particular.
