We are starting off this week by getting into the Christmas spirit with Angela Y. of California. She talks about that wonderful tradition many of us have of putting up the Christmas tree. Where do your decorations come from? This mom tells us where she gets hers!
On Tuesday, we’re off to Texas to hear from Diana @ Hormonal Imbalances. She talks about how as parents, we devote our lives to our little ones, and she tells us about a New Years Resolution that she is making.
Grab your passports, we’re flying to Japan! Hamakkomommy tells us all about how Christmas is celebrated in Japan. Come read about how they observe this day in a different culture.
On Thursday, we will be in another international destination, as Tatter Scoops in Indonesia tells us about what it’s like to care for her dad, who has had some medical issues. As parents, we are so tuned into the idea of taking care of our children. What happens when the tables are turned, and it’s the children’s turn to take care of the parents?
On Friday, we are – everywhere! We will be hop, skip and jumping all over the world today as our World Moms Blog writers spread a little cheer for the holiday season!

On Thursday, we are back in the United States. We are heading to California to hear from Polish Mom Photographer, who loves to travel, cook, take pictures, and of course, blog and share stories of her Polish culture and heritage.
We close off the week on Friday in Arizona, with Dr. Jeanelle. Gulf War Veteran, super-proud mom, and outspoken advocate for positive thinking and self-esteem in teens, this amazing woman has lots of great stories to share!

Human Rights is on a roll! The column is back this week on Tuesday with international human rights lawyer, Jennifer Prestholdt of Minnesota, USA. Jennifer is preparing us for International Human Rights Day coming up on December 10th by giving us ideas on how we can commemorate the day with our children! (Great idea, Jennifer!)
Wednesday, we hear from Shaula Bellour, mother of twins, way out in the south pacific in East Timor. She’s got some big geographical news for us, so tune in!
Thursday we have something new in store — an animated picture on the topic of motherhood by the very talented JC Little of Montreal, Canada. It is a caption contest! Write your own caption in the comments, and we’ll pick a winner!
Frelle in North Carolina is going through the ups and downs of the beginning of joint custody of her children with her ex-husband and staying strong. She’s going to check in on Friday and tell us how things are going.

We start this week in South Korea with new writer Ms. V. Remember when you were able to get a full night’s sleep? Nope, neither can Ms. V! She takes us on her journey from sleep champion to sleep deprived.
On Tuesday, we travel back to the United States. We will be in Minnesota with Nicole at Third Eye Mom, who is doing a human rights post on censorship in China.
On Wednesday, we are off globe-trotting again. We will go to Japan, where Melanie Oda reflects on the upcoming New Year and what 2011 has held for her and her family. It has been an eventful year for sure.
On Thursday, we will be back in the United States, this time in Texas. Diana at Hormonal Imbalances talks about how she is introducing her young daughter to an activity that she herself loves – and how her daughter seems to be interested!
And on Friday, we will be in Washington with Tara B. You know how, as kids, our parents said things to us that we vowed we would never say to our kids? In this post, Tara tells us how that has worked out for her!

We are starting this week in Canada, where Multitasking Mumma is preparing for the holiday season! We know how Christmas shopping can send a busy mom absolutely loopy, right? Save your sanity by following these helpful – and hilarious – tips.

On Wednesday, grab your passport for a trip to Switzerland! We will hear from new writer Kristin Kolb, who recently had to dig up her own passport for a trip across the ocean sans kids. She talks about how she helped her family cope with her absence.
On Thursday, we travel to another part of the world as we visit with Karyn at Kloppenmum in New Zealand. She broaches the subject of independence in our children, and the conflict we sometimes feel when our babies start doing things themselves.
