On Wednesday, we fly to India to hear from The Alchemist, the Mom who has worn many hats, including one as an Engineer!

And on Thursday, we’re in New Jersey with Kally Mocho, the part-time social worker who has a passion for helping people less fortunate than herself.

We are thrilled to welcome two new writers, Inspire to Dream from Australia and DC Blogmama from Washington D.C. Look out for their writer profiles, which will be posted soon.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to our writer Sunny Springer, who is anxiously awaiting information about the safety of friends and family in her home country of Japan. We hope to hear good news soon.

Friday Question: What one item can you not live without?

Today’s Friday Question marks our 100th post on World Moms Blog!

This week’s question came from one of our writers – Kally Mocho.  She asked,

“As a mom, what one item can you not live without?”

Here are some indispensable items some of our moms cannot do without…

Eva Fannon of Washington State, USA writes:
“It would have to be diaper wipes. Even after my oldest was out of diapers (and the youngest wasn’t even born yet), we still kept buying them because they make cleaning dirty faces and hands so much easier!  I always keep an extra pack in the car.” (more…)

Veronica Samuels of New Jersey, USA writes:
“A cup of tea, something naughty to eat (such as ice cream) and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on T.V. (The show is a comical slant on the U.S. news and politics.) Ahhhh, adult time!!!” (more…)

When faced with the fact that he will be wearing glasses permanently, I initially was crushed, devastated; I felt lost, confused and upset. I felt guilty with myself and angry at the whole world. (more…)
