On Monday start the week in California, where we will hear from Polish Mom Photographer. This mom ponders the fact that her former milk-guzzling child is now refusing some major sources of dairy, and she touches on the age-old picky eater problems faced by moms everywhere.
On Tuesday, we head to Pennsylvania to hear from a new writer, Twinmom112. She writes a poignant post about growing up with an alcoholic mother, and how she tries to prevent her childhood memories from clouding her own experiences as a mother.
On Wednesday, we cross the Atlantic to visit with the Alchemist in India. This mom of an adorable little boy is an engineering guru – and yes, you can still be a guru even if you no longer actually practice the profession. She is also a writer, and always has interesting tales to tell.
And on Thursday we are back in the United States, with Galit Breen in Minnesota. Galit is a former world traveler, she is a wife, mom, dog owner and writer. She has gorgeous kids who do adorable things. And whenever you read one of her articles, you are guaranteed to be informed and entertained.
On Friday Eva Fannon leads us in the Friday Question. Be sure to check it out and chime in with your answers!
In writer interviews this week, on Tuesday we will hear from Diana @ Hormonal Imbalances from Texas.
Next week we can look forward to posts every day from Monday to Friday. Our weekly questions will be moved to a new column called the Saturday Sidebar.

This week’s Friday Question comes from World Moms Blog writer The Alchemist ofIndia. She asked our writers,
“Which trait would you like your child(ren) to learn from you and/or your husband or partner?”
Check out what some of our World Moms had to say…
Jenna Farelyn of North Carolina, USA writes:
“I actually pray every night for my children to learn to be compassionate and non judgmental. I am very accepting and open-minded, while their father is not so much. Rigid, conservative, “tolerant”.
I hope they learn his skills with budgeting both money and time, because they don’t get that from me.” (more…)

This week’s Friday Question comes from World Moms Blog writer Maggie Ellison. She asked our writers,
“In your opinion, or role as a parent, is spanking children an acceptable form of discipline?”
Here’s what some of our World Moms had to say…
Salma of Ontario, Canada writes:
“I have spanked my children, and it wasn’t the best option. I found that it is best to deal with each child based on his personality.
The times when I did spank it was out of fear (kids run into traffic etc). I realized that it was my fear that led me to REACT.
From my experience, spanking doesn’t empower children, so I don’t think it’s a good form of discipline.” (more…)

Where in the world do you live? And, are you from there?
I was born and raised in Southern California. I’ve spent the majority of my life in Ventura County, which is between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara Counties. We are blessed with great weather, beautiful beaches, and low crime. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow up and I’m so happy that I’m able to raise our son here.
What language(s) do you speak?
I speak English but after a few days in Mexico, I’m able to remember some of my four years of Spanish.
When did you first become a mother?
I became a mother on February 3rd, 2009. Blake is our only child and we are not planning on having any other children. (more…)
