This week’s Friday Question comes from World Moms Blog writer Maggie Ellison of South Carolina, USA. She asked:
“What are your religious views and how are they (or how are they not) a part of your life?”
Here’s how the World Moms answered in order as the responses came in…
Eva Fannon of Washington, USA writes:
“I am Roman Catholic and my husband is an atheist…which makes life interesting. Ever since I’ve had kids, I don’t go to church as regularly as I would like, but I have baptized both of my girls. (And yes, my husband attended both ceremonies and didn’t get struck down by lightning when he entered the church — LOL!)” (more…)

This week’s Friday Question comes from World Moms Blog writer Tara B. She asked our writers,
“What were your biggest aversions and/or cravings during pregnancy?”
Check out what some of our World Moms had to say…
MamaRobinJ of British Columbia, Canada writes:
“I ate a lot of pickles. And ice cream. But not together, because I’m not THAT cliché 🙂 But seriously, we bought big pickle jars every week!
Major aversion for me was salad – anything with greens turned me off completely.
Weird craving was for a McChicken. I don’t eat at McDonald’s and hadn’t for years and years. But I wanted one so badly. I didn’t give in, but that combo of craving and aversion made no sense. Isn’t your body supposed to want good things? Someone suggested it might be salt that made me crave that, but I think the pickles were taking care of that 🙂 In any case, my son (3) has never had McDonald’s and he will actually eat salad, so go figure.” (more…)

This week’s Friday Question comes from World Moms Blog writer Kelley. She asked our writers,
“How do you handle (what you deem) bad behavior on the part of the child of a friend? If you don’t just ignore, what have been the consequences?”
And here is what some of our World Moms had to say…
Carol @ If By Yes of British Columbia, Canada writes:
“Assuming the friend is present, I ignore it for the most part, even if I disagree with my friend’s way of handling it.” (more…)

Not all, but a great number of countries celebrate Father’s Day on the third Sunday in June. In honor of Father’s Day, we asked our World Moms…
“What is your favorite memory of your father?”

Amy Hillis of Ohio, USA writes:
“My dad used to restore old gumball machines and he would let me sit at his work bench and help. He would give me little jobs and let me use his tools and paints to make my own ‘creations’.
I realize now that he helped encourage my creativity and provided an escape for me when things with my mother were rough.
My dad is still around, but lives 400 miles away- I still miss doing ‘projects’ with him.”
