As the holidays approach, we asked our World Moms Blog writers to…
“…tell us about a holiday/cultural tradition that you are excited
about sharing with your child(ren) this year.”
Check out what some of our World Moms had to say…
Kyla P’an of Massachusetts, USA writes:
“There are two things I get really excited about each year:
1. setting out our family creche. We add one piece each night until Christmas Eve, saving the baby. On Christmas morning, baby Jesus magically appears and the kids get excited about discovering him there.
2. Advent calendars, my mom has devotedly given me an advent calendar every year of my life for the past 39 years and now she sends them to my kids too…this year we have a chocolate one and a Playmobile one to look forward to.” (more…)

This week’s Friday Question comes from World Moms Blog writer Eva Fannon of Washington State. She asked our writers,
“If someone gifted you tickets to travel anywhere in the world, where would you go, and who would you take with you?”
Here are some of the exciting places some of our World Moms would love to visit…
Asta Burrows of Norway writes:
“I would take my husband and wee lad to Western Australia. We have been there several times; I love the wine tasting and my husband loves the windsurfing. However after reading Tara’s article about flying with kids, I am not sure I could handle such a long journey – but it would probably be worth it!” (more…)

When did you first become a mother?
I will become a mother at the end of June. At the moment, I am carrying a huge egg-shaped belly!
Where in the world do you live? And, are you from there?
I live in Rome, Italy, and I was born here. I used to live in New York (two years) and Paris (two years), which makes me kind of a gipsy.
My family and life are now in Rome ,and it’s definitely a pleasant place to live in for both, children and adults.
What language(s) do you speak?
I speak Italian (of course), English, French and a little bit of Spanish.
I really like to learn languages and, for some reason, it comes really easy to me.
However, the writing part gets a little more difficult sometimes. (more…)
