This week, we visit four countries! We start in New York on Monday, where Maman Aya tells us about a business trip with a difference – she took along her two young children! Come read as she tells us how she juggled working and parenting far away from home.
On Tuesday, we head over to Australia to talk about tough guys. That is, tough guys who love animals and children, and ladies, we all know how appealing that can be! Fiona at Inspiration To Dream describes the qualities that made her fall for her husband – qualities that she is now starting to see in her own sons.
On Wednesday we’ll be in Canada, hearing from Salma. Do you ever want to get away from the chaos and busy-ness of parenting? Salma was able to do just that, by escaping for a day of luxury and relaxation. She tells us all about it!
On Thursday we’re in Kenya with one of our newer writers, Mama Mzungu. She talks about how parenting styles – and therefore the behaviour of the kids – can differ according to what country you’re in, and ponders the question of whether there is any one nation that can be held up as an example of superior parenting.
On Thursday evening we have a new writer interview! Let’s get to know Taryn, who has lived in a variety of places and is now in China!
On Friday we will be back in the United States, with Diana at Hormonal Imbalances. Guess what? This Texas mom is pregnant with twins! She has some thoughts about body image during and after pregnancy. She wonders how her body will look after the twins are born and whether she will reach a point of being able to accept it.
On Saturday, check out the Saturday Sidebar with Eva Fannon, where the World Moms give their thoughts on an important topic, and chime in with your answers to the week’s question!

Hi all – we f.i.n.a.l.l.y. are connected to broadband again – taking a day and a half to make one banking transaction was intensely frustrating!!! **&^%^%^$##$%^^&!!! I learned some new swears in the process, that’s for sure.
If there’s anything I need to do, just say the word – I must be long overdue for a post!
Love to all and welcome to newbies,
Karyn x
